My Way
In our present day art world filled with its variable trends, clamour and impetuousness, we are constantly faced with the challenge of achieving a state of freedom, honesty and continuous evolution in our artworks. This is also what I have always sought after and reflected on in my paintings.
Freedom is the heart and soul of art. I am reluctant to confine myself to one particular point among my interests. Reflecting changes upon seeing something new is my attitude towards painting.
Through my own technique and unique visual perception, I attempt to transfer written information in real life with a perspective of humanity to recreate my own style of reality, ultimately experimenting things in my own way.
Painting is a process of creation which cannot be repeated. I do not deliberately paint anything in particular, nor do I sedulously apply a label to experiment a certain outlook. Everything must be derived honestly from my heart and according to my standard. Images can always be re-enacted before my eyes and this is the reason why I am deeply enthralled by abstract elements.
I believe painting is an art form that goes beyond language or textual interpretation and therefore I adopt a serial numbering method to name a particular painting. What is important is the viewer’s reaction and sensation triggered by visual contact. I also pursue the simultaneous interaction and interchanging relationship between the abstract and the realistic, both of which mesmerize as they mix and intertwine with each other. Each of my artwork is an experience, an accumulative achievement.
