The days pass so quickly, I barely have time to think. Like a peasant woman, I begin my work at sunrise and finally rest at sunset.
My industriousness is selfish; it brings me happiness.
My happiness comes from my work.
Apart from work, I have nothing. I have nothing, yet I have so much –so much that I don’t have any more space to put them.
Sometimes I feel like a snail, bearing a huge desire, crawling into the unknown, using only my soft and alert antennas to discover a magical world. This world is not concerned with human relations, nor it is a world about politics or about making money; and yet my world is much fuller and vast…
My antennas are sensitive and delicate; they silently stretch towards the world of things around me. These things are all living creatures, including the dead plants, the natural or created, the heaven-made or man-made –or even the objects that I have infused with life.
My antennas can hear, they listen to the language of life and they understand what it is saying.
To me, every object and material has their special language. Objects that have a language certainly embody life and they continue to stretch and grow…
Therefore, every time I get to know a new object or new material, it seems like I have made a new friend. Theses new friends are the source of my art…
My value system is based on the mutual understanding between me and theses objects, materials, and every living organism in this world.
As for the past 10 years, my art began with installations and will remain installations.
With such happiness, I will never be bored as long as the sun rises and sets…
