Bonsai Series

The work Bonsai is an interpretation on the meaning of life. The meaning of Bonsai is related to nurturing and appreciation, while the significance of furniture, in fact, lies in its practicality upon artificial processing. The merging of these two components is like splicing the principles together. Both consist of the same material, with the bonsai growing into a piece of furniture. Is like a new life being borne from the withered wood of the plant. Withered wood insinuate death, but it obtains a symbolic new life through the formation of the furniture.
