Now in its seventh year, Hong Kong ArtWalk is Hong Kong's biggest art charity event with participants walking from gallery to gallery in the areas including Central, Soho, Sheung Wan, Wanchai and Aberdeen. The date has been set on 7 March 2007, tickets are @HK$420 for adults and @HK$90 for tertiary students; and can be purchased from our branch gallery on 27 Hollywood Road. It will be a fantastic evening to view an array of art from 5 pm to 12 midnight.
Schoeni Art Gallery will be featuring new works by its exclusive artists including Chen Li, Chen Yu, Dai Dai, Liu Hong Yuan, Shuai Mei, Shen Hua, Wang Yi Guang, Yu Chen, Zhao Fang, Zhu Yi Yong, Zhang Lin Hai and Zhou Jin Hua. As well as artists who have their upcoming solo at the gallery, namely Gary Mok Wai Hong, and Ling Jian.
The Schoeni Collection will also be showcasing works from the highly acclaimed mid 90s 8+8-1 project by artists such as Zhang Xiao Gang, Liu Wei, Wang Jin Song, Zeng Fan Zhi, Xin Hai Zhou, Qi Zhi Long, Yue Min Jun, Guo Jin, Mai Jin Yao, Zhang Bin, Zhang Gong, Yang Shao Bin and Guo Wei. This is a rare opportunity to see so many of these 1990s works, by the today acclaimed leading avant garde artists, together again under one roof.
The intention of this exhibition is to give the ArtWalk participants an opportunity to observe the diversity of Chinese oil paintings.
