This catalogue was published on the occasion of the first exhibition of Contemporary Chinese Oil Painting (from Realism to Post-Modernism) in Brussels in 1995. The exhibition was held at Galerie Theoremes in Brussels and at Schoeni Art Gallery, Hong Kong. This book was the first of its kind at the time and has become an important introductory text for the reference of Chinese Oil Paintings.
