Recognised as one of the emerging artists of China's "Me" generation, Chen Fei's works have received acclaim within the international art scene. Born in 1983, Chen Fei graduated from Art department of the Beijing Film Academy. Chen’s use of repetitive patterns and bright colors are reminiscence to psychedelic style. His at times bold and explicit portrayal of his subjects - which only consist of himself, his girlfriend and his pet dog - is a perfect example that indicates the alternative extremities of his generation.

Chen Fei was featured in Schoeni Art Gallery's Niubi Newbie Kids Exhibition in September 2008, and as a continuation of our support for the artist, we have launched limited edition prints of his Patterned Skirt series.
